Sanlé Sory at the Tang Teaching Museum & Art Gallery

Photographs by Sanlé Sory are included in the group exhibition Studio/Archive, which will be on view from February 3 - June 9, 2024 at the Tang Teaching Museum of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Studio/Archive showcases a broad survey of photographs, including nineteenth-century daguerreotypes, vernacular images, contemporary portraiture, and works of video art. Together, these bodies of work explore themes of agency, and how representation becomes a tool to seek out empathy and justice.
