Group Exhibition: The Anxious Eye: German Expressionism and Its Legacy
Orit Hoshi's 2017 polyptych Time...thou ceaseless lackey to eternity is included in The Anxious Eye: German Expressionism and Its Legacy, which will be on view at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC through May 27, 2024. The Anxious Eye presents works by artists of the early 20th century alongside works that trace a path of influence to the modern day. Orit Hofshi is among the contemporary artists on view that continue the German expressionists' legacy; these artists include Leonard Baskin, Nicole Eisenman, Rashid Johnson, and Matthias Mansen, among several others. Hofshi's Time...thou ceaseless lackey to eternity was acquired by the National Gallery in 2018.
